Our Story & Heritage

Livingston Foot Care Specialists is celebrating of our 46th year in providing quality medical and surgical foot care to our patients on Long Island. Dr. Leon Livingston first started the practice on June 3, 1965 in a one treatment room office directly across the street from the present location in North Bellmore NY. In 1969, the practice was moved to our present building when Dr. Leon established it as a home and office. There were two treatment rooms at that time. In 1996 the entire building was converted to office space and now Dr. Leon is proud to share the office with his son, Dr. Douglas Livingston and their associates.

Livingston Foot Care Specialists is extremely proud of the fact that it is now seeing the children and the children’s children of many of its original patients. The practice is blessed by the fact that the people who come for help are loyal, appreciative and often become part of our professional family. Our patients make every day special for everyone who works at Livingston Foot Care.
